The new feature of iOS 11 will give YouTube a run for its money:

New iOS 11 beta version has been recently released in the market. There are many amazing features included as is expected by the Apple. The complete version is expected to be released this fall with the iPhone 8. The most notable features in the new iOS are more design oriented. The apps like phone and calculator have a new revamped look. The text also is bolder.

What is the feature that has become the talk of the town?

The feature that has been talked most about the new iOS 11 is that it supports native live streaming.  This has become the most talked about the rumor because in the first beta version when you o to the recording through the newly redesigned control center, you were given the button that said record now. However, in the latest version of the beta release, this button says “start broadcasting”. Experts and critics are stating that it is a sign or a hint towards the new feature of live streaming that might be included in the final version.
If this is actually the case, imagine what this could mean to gamers and social media activists and vloggers. Even for an ordinary user, this can be an amazing feature. I am more excited for the gamers because they won’t be needing platforms like YouTube or Twitch to broadcast their gaming. Now they can use the new iOS to just stream their screens while playing games like clash of clans etc.

There are many applications and platforms where you can live stream, YouTube being the popular one among them. But till now there has been no official mention of this rumored feature. But in case if it is true, then after measuring the popularity and religious following and usage of Apple, it can be easily predicted that these live streaming platforms are in for a major competition.

Live streaming can also be game-changing for other Apple apps as well. But Apple has a habit of introducing a feature in beta version only to revert it in the final version. So let’s hope and keep our fingers crossed that Apple expands its features and services for its users.

What are other features included in the iOS 11?

There are many new and enhanced features in the new iOS, which should be looked forward to. Some of these features are:

  • ·         Lot of redesigning has been done to display and look of options like lock screen, control center, phone, and calculator
  • ·         The control center is customized with a wide variety of setting available
  • ·         3D touch integration has been enhanced as well and more options are given without the need to open settings to perform certain tasks
  • ·         Siri has been given a more normal and natural voice and has become more intelligent (isn’t that great!). It has understood and learned how to sync user preferences with data used in different apps and devices. It can translate English into many languages and integration with Apple music is better too
  • ·         Notes now has the feature of searchable handwriting and document scanning
  • ·         iOS 11 has a new files app to manage files

  • ·         there are many new keyboard features as well


All in all, there are many enhancements to the existing features and apps. Their design has been made better and their functionality has been enhanced. If Apple launches the final version with all of these included and then iPhone and iPad users are in for a surprise and upgrade in features that will make their experience far better than before!
