With all the fast and instant responding processors, we all have become impatient. If we don’t get instant responses and fast computing, things don’t work for us even if we are just surfing the net or using the computer for very basic tasks.

Computer usage has become less of a topic all with the entire new Smartphone always being launched. However, every now and then this topic becomes really exciting. Especially when Intel launches its new processors, it’s like the call of the mother ship, like home ground redefining its niche or forte. Whenever Intel does that, it brings revolution to the world of computing and changes everything. The release of 8th generation processors will be as happening as the previous launches.

The 7th generation was called “Kaby Lake” which made quite a stir, is nothing as compared to the 8th generation “Kaby Lake Refresh”. It is twice as fast as the last one even for basic computing tasks.

Features of the eight generation Intel core processors:
  • ·         The first batch of computers with these processor chips will be available in 145 designs in Core i5 and i7
  • ·         The desktop processor is named “Coffee Lake” will be released first followed by the enterprise version in the fall
  • ·         This processor will be 50% faster than the previous version
  • ·         It will be quad-core based with 14-nanometer
  • ·         Usage of the computer for web browsing, multitasking with documents, videos and photos including other processors is amazingly fast
  • ·         Due to quad-core rendering 4k videos is super fast. Intel has also made 4k video playback for devices even if they don’t have 4k screens
  • ·         It has more Intel smart cache making your experience seamless
  • ·         It is best in class design
  • ·         8th gen processors have enhanced overclocking


Intel brings such masterpieces every few years and this 8 gen processor is phenomenal. The usage of laptops and desktops is mostly related to online usage and streaming. Nowadays everything is pertaining to online usage. Be it internet surfing, posting of photos or videos, and video streaming, the usage is expected to be fast and uninterrupted. This is not only dependant on the speed of the internet but is mostly dependent on the speed of the processor. Whether your computer’s processor can edit and process 4k videos and display them, all is because of your processor. And 8th gen Intel processors are capable of doing that even if the display doesn’t support it. The editing and processing of the 4k videos using applications like Adobe Lightroom are super fast as well.
